Comic poems with antic meter
Make a bad day slightly sweeter.
Some detest such cheery humor—
They like hearing spicy rumor.
My opinion isn’t hazy—
Sourpusses drive me crazy!
Sorrow-spewing blunderbusses
Drive me mad with all their fusses.
Let ‘em have their gossip chorus;
Give me laughs—they’re more canorous!
Once from fun I have partaken...
I'll survive their bellyachin'.
